Responsibility
Fish is a product widely enjoyed throughout the world by an increasing population which values its nutritional and dietary value. As a renewable resource the industry is dependant on environmentally responsible and enforceable management measures in both national and international waters.
JMSF supports those Government authorities implementing the appropriate quotas and licensing systems in coastal waters and the International RMO's (Regional Management Organisations) implementing similar measures for the high seas fisheries.
As part of the Andrew Marr International Group, JMSF is committed to playing its part in ensuring the success of these arrangements and the elimination of all IUU (illegal unregulated and unreported) fishing. This is seen as vital to the long term sustainability of the fish resources on which the company depends for its continued development.
