Arrival of J.Marr's new fishing vessel

After undergoing significant modernisation in China during the later half of 2008, early 2009, the vessel successfully completed sea trials and departed from China in May 2009 to join J.Marr's existing pool in the South Pacific Ocean.

The vessel managed and operated by Liaoning Pelagic Fisheries Co. Ltd has been subject to a full refit to increase daily freezing capacity and improve efficiency.

Michael Moore - Managing Director of J.Marr (Seafoods) made several trips to China to follow closely the modernisation programme and commented that:

"The An Xing Hai has made a magnificent addition to the J.Marr family and we are delighted with the finished product. The vessel will be deployed to join our other vessels, the f/v Viktoriya and f/v Lian Xing Hai to operate in the South Pacific Ocean. We would like to thank everyone for their commitment and hard work in bringing this project to completion and I believe that we can all be proud of our achievements"
